Spellings
Weekly spellings will continue to be set in the children’s spelling folder and will be sent home every Wednesday. This folder should be returned the following Wednesday for marking.
Please ensure that your child brings their spelling folder in each Wednesday.
Times Tables
The children should continue working on the times tables set for them to practice at home on Times Tables Rock Stars for 10 minutes each week. Folders will be sent home every Wednesday, with a TTRS worksheet for extra support, if needed or requested. This folder should be returned the following Wednesday for marking.
Please ensure that your child brings their times table folder in each Wednesday.
Reading
Please aim to read with your child for 20–30 minutes daily, exploring a mix of books, magazines, websites, and eBooks to encourage reading for pleasure. Your child has a reading book from our Class Library to enjoy at home. Your child will also be a set a weekly reading activity linked to our class book/reading skill. Folders will be sent home every Wednesday, and should be returned the following Wednesday for marking.
